We had some fun times this past weekend, despite the snow, which never makes Mama very happy.
First, we had a Build-a-Bear party for Grady's friend Brooklyn on Friday.
Grady stuffing his bear
I never get over that huge smile!
Giving his bear a "tubby" - he loved this part
Ever the little engineer, he wanted to figure out how the machine worked
You can see his dimples - he must be happy!
The other moms must have taken about 100 pictures of him too. They kept saying how photogenic he is since he loves to smile and loves the camera. They were like "none of the other kids want their picture taken, so we'll just take pictures of Grady having fun!" :) Ah, I think he missed his calling as a Baby Gap model!

Now for our "snow day" on Saturday! We got about 3 inches that all melted by about noon. But we got out in it before it did! I think some people in the are saw snow one other time this year, but for our neighborhood this was the first. We did get a little ice a few weeks ago, but nothing we coupld play in certainly.
Poor Grady was out in his rain boots because it would be sort of silly to own snow boots in SC.
Sad palm tree
First snow angel ever!
Grady getting ready to throw a snowball
"Helping" his best friend down the icy driveway - it was so cute how Grady was telling Drew to be careful.
sledding on the ice
sledding with Drew
A different sled - Drew is basically on top of him. Really safe, hmm?
Our sad, tiny SC snowman
Our yard at about noon - the only bits of snow left were where we attempted snowmen
We are very happy that temperatures are supposed to return to the more normal high 50's by the weekend. It sure has been one crazy winter! We are ready for spring!
Oh, and I just had to add this great little video of Grady sledding! It was his first time ever!
