Sweetness

I told Grady yesterday that I would probably come to his "Pumpkin Party" at preschool next week since Mamas were allowed to go.  His response was "can my friend's Mamas come too so they won't feel sad or lonely?"  Who knew a 2 year old could have such empathy?

Also this week - he asked me why there was a different part on the wrought iron bannister on the stairs.  I told him it was just to make it pretty.  He responds: "just to make it beautiful?" and I said "yes, to make it beautiful like you".  So he says to me (while pointing at me) "no Mama, beautiful like YOU".  AWWWW.
