A visit with Moo-y and ClarabellePosted on Sep. 22, 2009 at 3:05 PM - Post CommentGrady and Mama finally visited the Happy Cow Creamery last week! It is a dairy farm where you get to see the whole process, from beginning to end. It was so cool because it just so happened that while we were there a baby cow was being born! We got to see the whole thing. Of course, it got scary because the baby was coming out the wrong way and got pretty stuck. It was quite the procedure to get it out! But it was fine in the end. We also got to do a "milk tasting". Isn't that funny? Like a child-friendly version of a wine tasting - haha! Grady, of course, loved the chocolate milk. It was his first time ever trying it! I think he especially liked it because they make theirs with real chocolate (apparently most aren't made with actual chocolate but chocolate flavoring) so it tastes like a fudgesicle. It was also great because the place was only like 20 minutes away! After our hour long voyage to the blueberry patch, that was a relief! They have a cute country store where they sell all of their products too, so we bought some ice cream and had that after lunch. All of their stuff is organic and very healthy too, which is nice. Oh, and the title of this post is based on the fact that if you ever ask Grady what he thinks a cow's name is, he will say one of those 2 names. Have no idea why or where he came up with them.
