Destined for Harvard

I just had to share a few new things that Grady has learned - we are pretty sure he is headed to Harvard.

*If you ask what state we live in, he will say "South Carolina" or "South Cackalacky" if he is being silly.  If you ask where Nana and Papa live, he says "Massachusetts" (actually, he's known this one since last October when we visited).  If you ask where Gaga (Grandma Schmidt) and Grandpa live, he says "New York".  And the funniest has to be when he was playing with his Little People airplane and we asked him if they were going to Massachusetts.  He said "No Hawaii" (which was pronounced "Ha-why").  He also knows "Simpsonville".  The other day, out of nowhere, we asked what restaurant his stuffed animals were going to (he said they were going out to a restaurant), and he said "The Simpsonville Restaurant".  No such place, but it sounds lovely.

*He knows his full name now.  If you ask him his middle name, he will say "Eric", and if you ask his last name, he'll say "Grady Schmidt" (sounds like "smit").

*A few days ago I felt a cold coming on, and I told him I felt sick.  He gave me a kiss and hug and said "You feel better?"  When I told him I did feel a little better, he said "I'll take care of you Mama."  What a sweet boy.
