Last blast of winter

This past weekend we got our only snow of the year.  I couldn't believe it came in March!  It was about 4 inches at our house, which is crazy for this area!  I'm not a big fan, but I was excited to see what Grady would think.  He liked it at first and then was OK playing outside once it warmed up and was melting.  But when it was really cold he just wanted to be inside.

Before the snows came he helped Eric in the garage.  He's building some very nice shelving and a bench, so we have a little mudroom area in our garage.

Taking some measurements:

The start of the snow - yes, he's in rain boots.  We don't need snow boots around here most of the time!

To give you an idea of how wet our snow was, Grady was asking to splash in the snow :)

We made brownies to keep him busy when we were trapped inside.  They don't even begin to plow around here, so it's best to stay home until it melts.
