Halloween Fun - "other house!?"

Grady had a great Halloween - a fun party with baby-ladies (he was the only boy!), a great nap, and a great time Trick-or-treating (TOTing) in our neighborhood. Before TOTing we carved a pumpkin, which G loved. For TOTing we planned to go with Drew and Elizabeth (and their moms, of course). We did go with them, but we also ended up going with all of the kids from our cul-de-sac. It was so fun because everyone basically just went in one big group. I love our neighborhood - it was so festive and safe. They shut down the roads so there were no cars. And the weather was so warm and nice. Around here everyone just sits out on their porch handing out candy.
At first Grady thought that you were supposed to go inside everyone's house. So he would say "Come inside? OK!" He's funny like that - he just provides the question and the answer when it is something he wants to do. Once he realized that you just go house to house he would run between houses, shouting "other house!". Luckily, he was good about saying "Thank you".

I would like this if it weren't for me giving myself a triple chin:

Hi Rose-Anne! You guys look really cute! We've been checking your blog too, and it's fun to be able to follow Grady's growth. Caleb enjoys looking at his pictures. I think he remembers him.
I'm glad I was able to make you laugh with my post. (I'm here to entertain!) Let's just hope things go the right way today.
