Fall fun

This was a great weekend.   The fun started on Saturday with a trip to the farm!  There was so much to do there - pumpkin patch, apple picking (we just bought apples since G picked twice already), hay rides, corn maze, animals, and tons of fun stuff to play on.  G loved it all and we had a blast.  I took a ton of pictures because some of my favorite pictures of him from last year are from the pumpkin patch.  Just for fun, here he is last year:

And this year:

trying to pick one up:

In the patch - he thought it was like picking apples and kept saying "more pumpkins?"  We couldn't resist, so we ended up with 5!

On the hayride:

When we got off the hayride, the driver came around back to help us off.  As we were getting off, he said "thank you farmer!"

Giving the giant pumpkins some love:

The growth chart.  I hope to get one there every year:

This is funny (though completely unflattering) because I am constantly kissing him, and I often say I need "extend-o lips" so I can kiss him while he runs around.

Bye bye pumpkins!

After the farm, we headed to Eric's work since it is basically next door and there are fun trucks and stuff there.  I got a few cute shots:

Eric loves this one because his company name is on the door:

Inside the pipe that carries the gas through the ground!  He's truly a "gas baby"!

Sunday morning we got up and planted flowers.  We planted pansies in the hanging baskets and window boxes and mums in the yard.  Here are some pictures of Grady helping to plant flowers:

look how dirty his face got:
