A couple cute things...

First, I had to mention that yesterday was the first time that Grady was drawing with crayons and actually told me that is WAS something.  He, of course, drew a car - what else would that boy draw?

That brings me to my next little Grady tidbit.  Lately he is OBSESSED with cars, trucks - anything with wheels.  He will sit in the playroom and play endlessly with his cars and trucks (and also his Little People farm animals who he loads and unloads from the trucks).  If we are in the house and NOT in his playroom, he often asks "play trucks?"  As Eric would say, "that's good little kid junk".  What's more perfect for a little boy to walk around asking?

And one final story, which highlights another side of Grady's personality - his SUUUUUPPPER affectionate side:

Yesterday we went to Kindermusik.  At the end of class the teacher gives the kids little stamps on their hands, feet, and belly (Grady's favorite - he usually comes running at her holding his shirt up).  Yesterday, after she gave Grady his stamps, I said to Grady "what do you say?"  Because he will usually say "thank you".  His response today, however, was "I love you!"  What a sweetie.  The teacher couldn't get over how cute that was.  He has been so so affectionate lately though, it didn't really surprise me that much.  Just ask the baby girl at Gymboree open play who was basically unable to move the entire time since Grady was incessantly hugging and kissing her.  So funny.
