Though the weather has been quite hot, we have been taking advantage of the cooler September mornings and trying to get outside more.  On Sunday we took a trip to the zoo and on Monday Grady and "Mommy" (which he now often calls me) went to a really cool butterfly garden.

 

First, a video of Grady doing one of his very favorite things - reading on his bench:

 

 




I would have to say that his favorite animal was the chickens (they have a farm exhibit) - go figure! The pictures cannot capture his excitement.

Now for the pictures from the butterfly garden.  It's cool because this place is only 10 minutes from our house!
Why the heck does he look so big here?  It really caught me off guard because he is so much more babyish in person than this picture shows:
