Beating the HeatPosted on Jun. 6, 2008 at 12:53 PM - Post CommentWell it has been HOT HOT HOT here for the past week or so - about 100 degrees. Therefore, we have been seeking out AC, shade, and cool water as much as possible. We have been to the splash fountain downtown twice in the past week, and Grady really enjoyed it. He also REALLY liked feeding the ducks in the river right next to it. Today Grady got his 4th haircut and did really well. He loves this one woman that has cut his hair before. I think we need to go to her every time. So he is looking super cute right now. In fact, she thought it was really funny that if you say "are you cute?" he will say "CUTE!". He also wanted to kiss her goodbye. I had to intervene and tell him to kiss her on the cheek though. Otherwise, he will go around kissing everyone on the lips! Last weekend we went to the Farmer's Market downtown and then let G run around at Fall's Park:
He loooved the flowers and would go around smelling them all. He would also say "yellow" and "purple" when he saw those color flowers.
The fountains:
This was funny - he was sitting there, chatting away with Dada:
We went back to the fountains downtown on Monday morning with his friend Berit, who he loves.
Some nice man who was also a transplant from Massachusetts was kind enough to take our picture before our friends arrived.
