Grady is 15 months old!Posted on Feb. 27, 2008 at 11:20 AM - Post CommentWell it seems that Grady is really starting to take off in the speech department. He often tries to copy what we say, and sometimes even gets it pretty close. Lately, he is big on "bye bye", "WOW!", "uh oh", "boom", "up", "baby", and "hi". But he also tries to say lots of other things. The other day he pointed right at a picture of cheese and said "cheese". I was unfortunately making dinner, but Grandma Conte and Dada both saw it. Grady has also been showing an amazing love of music lately. I mean REALLY AMAZING. He dances constantly - to anything. It doesn't even have to be music. It could be an alarm or the car making a sound. He also seems to be starting to do the sign for "music". When he is in his stroller at the mall and we go by a store with music, he starts wildly rocking out. He seems to love lots of different types, but rock and ragtime are two favorites - upbeat music for an upbeat little guy. He also sings, and if you say "sing" he will go "lalala" TOO CUTE! He loves trucks lately and spends lots of time pushing one around, saying "brrrrmmmm brrrmmmm". He also loves stacking toys and has gotten quite good at putting them on and taking them off over and over again. He has been coloring with crayons a few times recently. He does pretty good and doesn't even do TOO bad with eating the crayons. Grandma Conte got his very first masterpiece. Grady is teething again and is actually getting his 2 year molars! Once those are in, he HAS to be done! Poor guy :( He went for his 15 month checkup today and did great! The doctor called him "the most inquisitive baby I have ever seen", as Grady kept trying to pull his instruments out of his pcoket and check them out. He had 3 shots and cried for only a second. Then he clapped - appaluding the nurse, perhaps? He is growing great - 23 pounds (25th %) and 32" (75th %). The doctor also told us to start the transition to regular milk, so that will be happening in the next day or two! Some pictures...

cute little chubby legs:
smiley, as usual:
another new thing is trying to "clean" things. He takes a rag and wipes everything - his face, toys, the couch - whatever!
He's such a ham. He was actually posing for these pictures, and the first one is definitely a fake smile. Don't you love the mohawk? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Video - Grady is "cleaning" everything in sight!
