Quick Grady updatePosted on Jan. 23, 2008 at 1:49 PM - Post CommentJust wanted to post a short update and a couple pictures, since I know Grady's fans around the world must be missing the updates! We are still quite busy around here, but I promise to get this blog rolling again soon! We are getting settled in and finding lots of new and fun activities here in SC. We went to the library this morning for story time. Grady is so funny because he wasn't shy in the least, even though everyone there was new to him. He ran around waving and smiling, visiting other babies and moms. Tomorrow we start Gymboree. Well, we are going to a free trial class, but I am planning on signing up while there, if we enjoy it. Next week we start Kindermusik, which Grady loved in VA. I am so happy to be going again, since he loves it so much. So what new things has G been doing? Saying "bye bye" - he opened a book to a page where a baby is waving "bye bye" and said "buh bye" yesterday - so funny. He is becoming very verbal, and probably saying lots that we don't realize. I think he says "hi" and "baby - more like "baba", but always said while pointing at a baby. He is signing really well - more and milk and food and ball. We need to keep teaching new signs! His feet are enormous - a size 6.5 wide, as measured by Stride Rite yesterday! I think that is normal for a 2 year old! We found a new pediatrician for him and he will be going to get acquainted with him very soon. Then we can find out how big he has gotten! He is basically off the bottle and drinking his milk (well, still toddler formula) out of a sippy cup. He just has one bottle before bed, but that will be going away soon. He has been coloring with a crayon a few times. He will point to lots of body parts when asked - belly, foot, hand, head, hair, ear, eye, nose, mouth. He only has one more eye tooth and then will be done with teeth until his 2 year molars - YAY! OK - now some pictures... eating:
