HAPPY HALLOWEEN!Posted on Oct. 31, 2007 at 10:32 AM - Post CommentGrady has been a busy guy over the past week or so. First of all, he has been doing new things just about every day! Several days ago he really got the hang of peek-a-boo, and now he loves it. He will take a hat or his hands, or anything, and hold it in front of his eyes (and shut his eyes) and then pull it down. When we say "PEEK-A-BOO!" he laughs or smiles and gets all excited. It's adorable.
He also decided to start clapping the other day. I was wondering when he was ever going to clap, and I was showing him how to do it. He just stared at my hands and then did it like it was no big deal!
We have also been having tons of Halloween fun around here. On Saturday Grady had his first party - a Halloween party with the play group we are part of. He had a fun time and was very social.
On Sunday he helped carve pumpkins (by playing with the goo inside the pumpkin and smooshing it all over the place
Now for pictures...
These are from last week - he's being mischievous and digging in his bathroom drawers. But I love him in that sweater from Grandma S.
YUMMY box!
Chasing Momma!
When I come in in the morning he loves to dramatically show me how he can stand without holding onto the rail:
Holding on...
holding on...
Thinking about letting go...
And there he goes!
"I bet no baby has ever done THIS before!"
On our way to the Halloween party. I'm a dorky cowgirl (actually, I'm just supposed to be a cowgirl, but since I look like a dork, I'll go with it).
Eric is a Mariachi guy:
Grady thinks the costume is adorable, apparently. This is his reaction whenever he sees himself in the mirror:
At the party he was a big fan of the baby pool full of balls. He's such a little Ladies' Baby-Man though - look at him!
On Sunday morning we carved pumpkins and Grady helped dig his out:
Just plain being cute:
Eric got him dressed for the parade and could not resist taking a nibble on his cheek.
Waiting for the parade to begin:
I pulled him around in circles while we waited for the parade to begin.
After the parade all of the kids posed for pictures. I never thought Grady would stay put, but he did (for a little while anyway).
Eric carried him home like this. He was so cute with his tail dangling down Eric's back.
And this picture is just because when we took off his costume and he was in just a onsie and socks his little legs looked TOO CUTE!
A few more pictures...
Trying to look in the box of stuff we just ordered for his birthday party. Also, notice his really cute shoes. Grandma C. got them for him. They are a size 5!! The baby-man has huge feet.
Halloween - with the pumpkins:
The next day at Kindermusik - the babies all dressed up.
Now for some videos...
This one shows Grady standing on his own, just for a short time. Then he also puts the ball in the shape sorter and does some other cute stuff.
Here he is all excited to be a giraffe.
Scooping out his pumpkin:
At Kindermusik. Yes, he is literally scaling the walls.
