A visit from Grandma and a trip to the "farm"Posted on Oct. 4, 2007 at 9:16 PM - Post CommentGrady has been a busy guy lately. This past weekend Grandma Conte and Papa Gino came to visit. We had a great time and got out to enjoy the nice weather a bunch. We made it to the park twice and visited the local children's museum which has a great barnyard exhibit for little guys.
Grady has been doing lots of fun stuff. He has been standing alone for a few seconds here and there. Today he was holding on to me and just let go on his own to stand. He is also getting quite good at his shape sorter. He will mess with me and pretend he is about to put the piece in. Then, when I get excited, he pulls it back out and laughs. Then he'll put it in. He can also use his walker pretty well all by himself!
I have also determined that he is getting his molars already! I noticed that one is about to pop through and the gum around it is black and blue - poor guy!
And just this morning he was really doing his baby sign for "milk"! I was changing him right before feeding him, and I did the sign and said it. So he looked where the bottle normally is. Then he started doing the sign like crazy. I hope he can learn more soon!
