A baby-man on the move

What else can I say?  The boy likes to GO GO GO!  He has gotten really fast at crawling, and he can pull up on ANYTHING, even flat surfaces, like a wall.  As long as there is something to hold onto, he can do it.  He has also been starting to stand on his own for a few seconds at a time!  Another cool thing he has started to do is shape sorting.  So far he can really just put the ball in the round hole, but he does it over and over and is quite proud of himself.  Of course, the wild clapping and cheering by Momma might have something to do with that!

Here is a random mix of pictures from the last 2 weeks.

Playing in a box in our under-construction basement.  After all, what's more fun than a box?  Fancy toys?  I think not!

Yes, he still prefers Bjorning it to any other mode of transportation.  So we continue to strap him to the front of us and pray our backs don't give out.  He is still within the weight limits, so that's good.  Here he was at Home Depot, just doing a little shopping.

Let me out!!!

He's an old-school baby - loves his blocks:

At the park on Saturday - he was watching the water in the stream below us.  The weather was gorgeous in that the humidity dropped below 98%

Then we headed over to an elementary school where there was tons of nice, clean grass for him to just crawl and crawl and crawl.

I'm probably trying to convince him to take a break!

On Sunday morning (it was actually cool!) we headed to the playground in our subdivision.  He was sporting his DKNY hoodie, sent all the way from Italy!  Isn't he cute?

On the swings (thanks for the shoes, Grandma Schmidt):

We went to a diner-type place on Sunday, and he was very good.  Here he is stuffing puffs into his mouth:

We just installed a new gate so he can't get to the formal living room or stairs from the great room.  Looks like he he's already plotting his escape!

He was chasing me!

We went to playgroup yesterday, and someone brought their dog.  Grady thought it was hysterical and giggled endlessly as he pet it.  Here are a couple shots of him near the dog:
