G-Man is on the move!

This has been an exciting week for Grady!  He started the week with a playgroup on Monday.  There are lots of babies around his age, so it should be a fun thing for him.  On Wednesday we did storytime at the bookstore like we always do.  On Thursday we started our Kindermusik class, which he loved.  He was so good and happy during class.  On Friday we went to storytime at the library.

In the past few days he has really started to crawl.  He goes back and forth between being up on all fours and doing the "army" crawl, flat on his tummy.  But he can go FAST now!  It was really cute because he figured out how to go fast a few days ago and he just crawled right out the door of his room and into the hall (which is hardwood).  When he got to the wood floor he could go even faster, since he was sliding along, so he got all excited and started giggling as he rushed down the hall (towards the stairs, of course).  It was so funny.

Today he really learned how to pull himself up.  Before he was doing it with a little help from us or doing it on us, but not really on other things.  This morning when we went into his room he had pulled himself up and was standing in his crib.  Then, later, he crawled over to his play table and pulled himself right up to play.

Finally, he also started cruising today!  I can't believe this.  He was standing up in his crib and just decided to walk along, using the rail for support.  He walked all the way from one end to the other!  So I guess he is just hitting all his milestones in one day

Now for pictures...

After the tub:

Checking out his Nikes:

Drinking his morning coffee (hmmm.... maybe THAT'S why he doesn't nap for very long )

He loves his Leapfrog table - thanks Lynn!

Hangin' with Daddy while I was off shopping:

riding to the park in his new carseat - it's very luxurious!

On the swings:

playing on the slide:

He even went down the big one (with Eric holding him, of course):

riding on Dad's shoulders and checking out the trees:

this is just funny - he needed a nap and started fussing, and I was not too happy about that:

The next day, at the frog pond.  The frogs were hiding out since it was so hot, but he loved the fish and saw some butterflies:

A couple more with Daddy:

Grady will be nine months old on Monday!  Time sure does fly.  His doctor appointment is then, so I will be sure to report on his latest stats after that!
