Grady is getting chubby!

Grady had his 7 month visit to the doctor this week and weighed in at 17 pounds, 13 ounces. That is right at the 50th percentile. I cannot even tell you how happy that makes me after his struggles to gain weight at the beginning. He also had two more shots and took them SO well. He certainly does not mind needles.

We have also been going to story time at Barnes and Noble, which is so much fun. He does a great job listening to the story and being a good little boy while we are there. He also really like to see the other babies. Grady and another baby even held hands this week - too cute!

He is getting really good at sitting and will sit for long periods of time without falling over. He can play like that for quite a while. And he will even catch himself with his hands if he starts to fall. He is still working on crawling and clearly really wants to do it, but it's not quite happening yet.

He has lots of teeth coming in - 4 at basically the same time. I cannot believe he is going to have a little mouth full of teeth soon! I hope it does not make him look like too much of a big kid!

He is getting great at lifting the flaps on his "lift-the flap" books. Now when I turn the page, he goes right for the flap and lifts it himself.

We are headed to the beach for the week of the Fourth of July. I am so excited to see how Grady likes the ocean, the sand, and all of the people he is going to see. I am also happy that he is going to get to spend lots of time with lots of grandparents! So I will be back with a big post and tons of pictures when we get back from that. But for now, here are a few cute ones from this past week.
