Grady kicks off summer and turns 6 months old!

Memorial Day weekend with Grady was lots of fun.  His grandparents came to visit and we had a cookout.  The weather was great so he also go to go in the pool for the first time!  He rode in his little red wagon to the big pool and went in in his float.  He also went in his baby pool for the first time.

Yesterday he went to the doctor for his 6 month well baby visit.  He is getting very big!  He was 16 pounds, 4 ounces, which means he is still gaining about an ounce per day - go Grady!  His weight was at the 25th percentile.  He was 27.5 inches, which is 80-90th percentile.  His head was right about the 50th percentile.  Everything else checked out fine, and he did OK with the shots, although he has been running a fever from one of them today.  It has made him a bit cranky.

Today he also added another food to his list - pears.  He loved them, of course!
