My first Mother's Day

Celebrating Mother's Day with my boys (Eric and Grady) was so much fun.  They got me a dozen long-stem red roses, which were beautiful.  They also each got me really cute cards.  They also took me to brunch on Sunday morning, and it was a gorgeous day, so we sat outside.  Then we went for a hike around downtown Lynchburg and onto Percival's Island (a nature preserve in the middle of the James River).

We also got Grady a Jumperoo this weekend (it's really a gift from Grandma Conte, but we picked it up this weekend).  Since the GI doc said we should keep him upright as often as possible, we figured it would be good to get another toy that would keep him in that position (since I don't think he will be standing on his own for a little while).

Here are some pictures, starting with tubby time.  He has started discovering all of his baby parts in the tub.  Sometimes he will actually pull on his tummy chub

He likes to kick back in the tub, now that he is no longer in the sling thing:

Looking mischievous:

He loves this monkey - it plays "Take Me out to the Ballgame"

Sitting by himself in the crib - he looks so tiny!

Now he pets the animals on his bumper:

Playing with a book - his favorite toy:
