Springtime Fun

It has been very warm and sunny this past week and weekend - more like summer than spring.  So we have been getting out and enjoying it with lots of walks and outings.  On Friday Grady had to go to the doctor and to get lab work done.  He did so great!  At the lab, he had to have a heel stick blood test, but it didn't even phase him.  He just smiled at the woman taking his blood the entire time.  He never even flinched.  Then it was off to the doctor, where he was up to 12 pounds and 24.5 inches!  So his length and head measurement were right at the 50th percentile, but his weight is still lower.  The doctor said 5th percentile, but everything else I have seen indicates that 12 pounds at 4 months is higher, so I'm not sure. He also did really well with his 2 vaccinations.  He cried for a minute but quickly calmed down - much better than last time!

On Saturday we took Grady to the nursery to pick out plants for the garden.  We carried him in the Bjorn and he did great.  He had many fans, as always.  The woman at the register told us he was "the cutest thing ever", and she loved his name too!

On Sunday Grady came to the mall with us.  He napped for a while and then we decided to have him get his picture with the Easter Bunny.  He was so funny.  When I plopped him down, he just looked stunned by it all.  Then he got smiley and we were able to get a nice photo.  The EB also gave him and egg with a little bunny inside.  It's just a cheap toy, but Grady loves the thing!  He smiled at it the whole way home.

Here are some photos of the weekend:
