Grady is Three Months Old Today!Posted on Feb. 27, 2007 at 10:55 AM - Post CommentI cannot believe how fast the time has gone. I can still remember exactly how I felt taking him home from the hospital - so scared and excited. I felt like the world would never be the same, and it sure hasn't been. I am so proud of how Eric and I have done over the past three months. We have had so many challenges, but we have really come together through them, rather than fighting and growing apart. Grady has brought so much joy into our lives - a type of joy that I had never known before. He makes me smile and laugh no matter how hard of a day I am having. But I have also known some of the saddest times because there is nothing sadder than seeing your child in pain or scared. That has been really hard to deal with. I get so excited about what the future holds for Grady. I just cannot wait to really show him the world! But it is also sad to see how fast time goes. I just want to hold on to every second. As my mom always tells me "these are the days". The ups and downs, happy and sad, scary and calm moments - I would do it all over a million times just to have my Grady.
