Tummy Time, Smiling, and Starting to "Talk"Posted on Jan. 23, 2007 at 2:46 PM - Post CommentThe week of January 8 (6 weeks old) was a big week for Grady. This is when he really started smiling at us a lot. He had been smiling a bit for a few weeks, but now he would do it all the time!
He also started really liking "tummy time". He was holding his head up really well and it looked like he wanted to crawl the way he would move his legs too. He was also turning his head from side to side.
This was also the week that he consistently started to "coo". He had done it a bit before, but now he was doing it a lot more. He would say things to us like he thought we could understand!

Grady likes to be ready to also - he actually looks at the pictures and seems like he is listening. I am reading him "On the Day You Were Born", which I got him for Christmas
