Grady is one week old!

Grady is one week old today! I seriously cannot believe that! Everything is going well.  My mom is SO excited to be here and has been very helpful.  We are taking Grady to the doctor again tomorrow, just for another weigh-in. I hope his weight is up, since it had gone down to 6 pounds, 4 ounces. I know it is normal to lose some weight, but now he seems SO tiny!

The biggest problem we are encountering is that Grady seems to get gas about once a day and cannot be consoled. I was trying to avoid the Mylecon drops until I saw the pediatrician again, but last night I gave him a tiny dose and it instantly helped. I know it is safe for new babies, so I am not worried, but it is something I need to discuss with the doctor.

Eric is still doing great. It was hard for him to go to work this morning, but he took some pictures to put on his desk, and I think he will be OK.
